Security Officer

The Security Officer I is a key member of the Safety and Security Department, responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment at the Resort. This role involves performing daily tasks to achieve the Department's goals and objectives, while upholding the mission statement of Montage International.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify and address potential safety hazards, unauthorized access, and trespassers.
- Respond promptly to guest and associate calls, prioritizing emergencies and providing assistance as needed.
- Proactively engage with guests to identify opportunities for exceptional service and create a positive experience.
- Maintain the security office and fire panel, ensuring accurate records and up-to-date information.
- Draft incident reports and conduct daily audits to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Ensure accurate shift logs and pass-down logs are completed, and CCTV monitors are regularly checked for surveillance purposes.
- Answer phones and dispatch calls, providing timely and effective communication.
- Conduct associate safety training and report/resolve safety hazards throughout the Resort.
- Respond to, communicate, and follow up on incidents as they occur, providing updates as necessary.
- Have a thorough understanding of Resort activities and events, providing a professional security presence while focusing on customer service.
- High school or equivalent education required.
- At least 1 year of Montage Security experience.
This role requires regular walking, standing, and exerting well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours. The ability to lift up to 15 lbs. is also necessary.
