The Critical Care Float Pool Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and support in our Intensive Care Units (ICUs). As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various ICUs, gaining diverse experience and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, utilizing therapeutic communication and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.
- Identify nursing problems and develop individualized patient care plans, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, promoting excellence in patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Current TN RN licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS.
- ICU, PCU, ENDO, PACU, SDS, PAT, Cath Lab, ED: ACLS required within 6 months.
- PACU & ED: PALS required within 6 months.
- ED Nurses: CPI certification training required within 6 months.
