Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Weekend Nights Paramedic. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our emergency department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collect and analyze information to inform patient care decisions, utilizing technology and communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare services, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide patient advocacy, education, and support, promoting patient-centered care and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with unlicensed personnel, providing guidance and oversight to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience as a Paramedic preferred.
- Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia required, National Registry preferred.
- BLS Certification required.
- ALS/ACLS and PALS certifications required for Emergency Department roles (Paramedics new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date).
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
