Ryder is seeking a dedicated Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Springfield, OR.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records and logs.
- Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer.
- Average $1500 or more per week.
- Average work week hours.
- $0.63 per mile with 1600 miles per week all miles paid.
- $0.65 per mile for doubles.
- $23.00 per stop with 12 stops per week.
- $27.00 per night - 3 nights per week.
- $1500 loyalty bonus - pays $750 at 6 months and $750 at 12 months.
- Paid training.
- Paid time off starts day one - 80 hours accrued in the first year.
- Comprehensive health benefits start at 30 days.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Pass a Ryder drug test.
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
- Pass a DOT physical.
- Pass a Ryder road test.
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, 2 years experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years experience within the last 10 years.
