Job Overview:
In response to the growing demand for electric vehicles in the automotive sector, Comrise is looking for skilled and committed Production Quality Engineers to manage and enhance the quality assurance processes within our manufacturing operations. This position focuses on executing quality management activities, overseeing process modifications, resolving quality challenges, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guarantee the quality management and oversight of production line operations.
• Establish and assess quality control protocols to uphold superior standards.
• Ensure adherence to all quality-related procedures in alignment with organizational standards and regulations.
• Oversee quality activities such as SPC (Statistical Process Control), FAI (First Article Inspection), MES (Manufacturing Execution System) evaluations, CTQ (Critical to Quality) management, FIFO (First In, First Out), error prevention, rework, and equipment validation.
• Apply lessons learned and systematic measures to avert the recurrence of quality issues.
• Assist in various process audits, including process evaluations and LPA (Layered Process Audit) assessments.
• Conduct quality risk assessments and initiate quality enhancement activities.
• Manage alterations in the production process and ensure the effective execution of process response strategies.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to facilitate smooth transitions during process changes.
• Provide training and support to elevate the overall competency of the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in production quality control or quality assurance, specifically within the automotive manufacturing sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and tools, including SPC, FAI, and MES.
• Proficient in utilizing quality analysis and improvement methodologies such as FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), 8D (8 Disciplines Problem Solving), Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Strong analytical skills and data processing capabilities.
• Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance.
• Capability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to navigate work environments, which may involve walking, standing, and climbing.
• Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, especially during inspections or troubleshooting tasks.
• Capacity to lift and carry moderate weights, typically ranging from 25 to 50 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of heavier items may be necessary.
• Ability to work in various settings, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites, which may involve driving or other transportation methods.
