Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL-A Route Driver to join our team at Core-Mark. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure accurate and timely responses to questions.
  • Load and unload products from trailers, and secure trailers to prevent damage or loss.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Collect payments from customers as necessary.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card.
