We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Saputo. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
  • Repair and replace hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Operate forklifts and aerial platforms
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Start, stop, and adjust the ammonia system
  • Repair and replace equipment on the steam system
  • Work with co-workers and supervisor to resolve maintenance problems
  • Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and measurements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends
  • High level of welding, electrical, or mechanical skills a plus
