About the RoleThe Dietary Aide is a key member of our food services team, assisting the Cook in the preparation and service of meals. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine and repetitive tasks daily. As a Dietary Aide, you will also be responsible for ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to health standards, and providing excellent customer and resident experiences.

Key Responsibilities- Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals
- Place prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets in line with established policies and procedures
- Ensure a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to health standards
- Provide excellent customer and resident experiences
- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
- Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions
- Ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met
- Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks daily
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Specialized training in food service desirable
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
The estimated salary range for this position is $15-$18 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, education, and facility-specific requirements.
