Job Title: Anatomic Pathology Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anatomic Pathology Manager to join our team at Vidant Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities in the delivery of quality patient care within the area of Anatomic Pathology. This includes supervising personnel, maintaining adequate inventories of supplies and reagents, and ensuring compliance with current accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer policies and manage personnel within the area of expertise
• Maintain adequate inventories of supplies and reagents
• Ensure compliance with current accreditation standards
• Develop, plan, and audit departmental goals and budget
• Monitor and serve as a resource for activities related to physical plant, data processing, and educational training of students, regional laboratories, and Departmental/Hospital committees

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• ASCP, AMT, HEW, or equivalent certification
• 5 years of current lab experience in area of concentration (Anatomic Pathology and or Cytology)
• At least one year of supervisory experience in laboratory or clinical setting
