We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a Radiology Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Radiology Tech to work in a fast-paced environment, providing diagnostic imaging services to patients of all ages. You will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment, positioning patients, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Assist radiologists during procedures and provide patient care
  • Accommodate inpatients and requests for urgent exams as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of radiologic equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate of Training in Radiologic Technology Program
  • An Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with PACS systems and digital radiology
