We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Living Community Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing on-site care coordination, therapy, and pharmacy services. As an Occupational Therapist with EmpowerMe Wellness, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and help them achieve their full potential.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Living Community Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing occupational therapy and wellness services to older adults residing in senior living communities. This will include conducting assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will also support care coordination efforts by conducting regular wellness checkpoint visits with patients, communicating with patients' providers and caregivers, and assisting patients with attending telehealth visits.
In addition, you will maintain professional practices and ethical standards in accordance with company-wide policies and clinical initiatives. You will contribute to program development, quality improvement, and problem-solving to optimize each patient's functional well-being and satisfaction.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) eligibility with matching funds, and paid time off.
In addition, you will receive flexible scheduling options to fit your unique lifestyle, as well as opportunities for career advancement and cross-training within our organization.
We also offer a sign-on bonus of $1,000 to new hires, which will be paid out upon completion of six months of employment.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful as a Senior Living Community Occupational Therapist with EmpowerMe Wellness, you will need to possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, as well as current state licensure in Occupational Therapy.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, a results-oriented mindset with a dash of critical thinking, and tech-savvy skills with a quick learning curve.
A professional curiosity and knack for finding solutions, as well as a passion for helping others, especially seniors, are essential qualities for this role.
