Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care according to established standards and practices, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens.
- Assist providers in examination and treatment of patients, as well as with procedures.
- Assist with patient flow through the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all patients.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist providers with patient-related calls.
- Schedule test appointments, results, and pre-certification as needed.
- Document all patient information and assist providers with medication refills.
- Administer medications and immunizations according to provider orders.
- Clean and restock exam rooms, as well as clean equipment according to policy.
- Order stock supplies from the supply department and maintain sterile technique and universal protocol.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including locating patient charts, filing, and completing routine forms.
- CERT LPN License in the state of employment or compact BLS certification.
