Job Description

International AeroTech Academy is seeking a skilled Aviation Maintenance Technician Instructor to join our team at our Lakeland, FL location. As an instructor, you will provide instruction to students during classroom, lab, and shop training within our FAA-approved 14 CFR Part 147 curriculum. Your expertise in aircraft technology, maintenance, and operations will help prepare students for careers as Aviation Maintenance Technicians and related fields.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach classes on a regularly scheduled basis, as assigned.
  • Maintain and deliver a pre-approved FAA syllabus.
  • Collaborate with a shared stewardship of curriculum development and program quality.
Requirements:
  • Must have an FAA A&P, or Airframe or Powerplant License.
  • FCC GROL or NCATT certifications a plus.
  • Must have 3 or more years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Prefer an outgoing personality with good communication skills and the ability to instruct students in this field of study.
