Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality care to our patients by working closely with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and assist with surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
• Prepare patients for surgery
• Assist with surgical procedures
• Count and arrange equipment and surgical tools
• Pass surgical tools to the surgeon and assistant
• Apply dressings to surgical sites
• Dispose of needles and gauze

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited operating room technical program
• Certified Surgical Technologist through the NBSTSA or NCCT is preferred
• Current BLS certification
