English Instructor

Are you a passionate educator looking to share your knowledge with students in an engaging and interactive environment? We are seeking an Adjunct English Instructor to join our team at Lee College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach freshman and sophomore-level English courses, guiding students through their academic journey and helping them develop essential writing, reading, and critical thinking skills.

We estimate that the salary range for this position will be around $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on national averages for adjunct instructors and takes into account factors such as education level, teaching experience, and location.

The successful candidate will have a Master's (or higher) degree in English or a related field, with a strong background in teaching and communication. Prior online teaching experience and certification are preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be committed to student learning, integrating technology into the curriculum, and encouraging engaged scholars.

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching assigned classes in accordance with approved syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials. You will also provide counsel/guidance to students when needed, maintain accurate student accounting records, and submit required student reports to the Admissions & Records Office according to schedule.
