Job Title:

Pulmonary Specialist

Job Summary:

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a highly qualified Pulmonary Specialist to join our team in the Department of Medicine. As a Pulmonary Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct bedside clinical care in our medical intensive care unit, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct bedside clinical care to patients in the medical intensive care unit
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in clinical teaching and education of students and residents
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner)
  • Board certification in Acute Care
  • At least one to three years of experience in acute and chronic disease direct patient care management
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and innovative team-based care
