Job Description

The Shadehouse Horticultural Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to the cultivation team, ensuring that all horticultural practices are followed. This includes monitoring and maintaining the health and well-being of plants, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the cultivation team, ensuring that all horticultural practices are followed.
  • Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of plants.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
  • Assist with training new employees on horticultural practices.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on best practices in horticulture.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a horticultural or agricultural setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance as needed.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Screening.
