Elmhurst College Clinical Adjunct Position

This role is designed to provide expert instruction in clinical settings, supporting nursing students as they develop their skills and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations.

About the Position

The successful candidate will work closely with students, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving. Hours of work may vary depending on the course schedule, ranging from 6 to 12 hours per day at designated clinical sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead groups of nursing students in clinical settings, guiding them through practical application of theoretical concepts
  • Develop and implement teaching strategies to promote student engagement and understanding
  • Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • A master's degree in nursing or a related field
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois
