Banquet Captain

• Deliver exceptional customer service by setting a positive example and promptly addressing guest requests, concerns, and complaints.
• Foster strong working relationships within Food & Beverage, other hotel departments, and function guest hosts.
• Assist in leading and managing all aspects of banquet services and activities.
• Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of all food and products according to banquet event orders.
• Train staff in Food & Beverage Banquets procedures and techniques; assist with managing BEO sheets.
• Inspect function rooms and equipment for cleanliness and maintenance; oversee room setup according to event specifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in banquets/food & beverage, event management, or related professional area preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• OSHA certification or equivalent knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic mathematical skills to prepare financial reporting.
