Elementary ELA Tutor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Elementary ELA Tutor to join our team in North Mt. Juliet. As a Tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to help them achieve academic success in English Language Arts.

Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Tutor to work with students in Elementary English Language Arts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the subject matter and be able to adapt to different learning styles.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in Elementary English Language Arts
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
• Meet with the office to discuss student enrollment packages and hours

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement
• Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry
• Strong administration skills
• Strong typing, PC and recording skills
• Having reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must
• Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone
