Your Role:
As a Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe upkeep and repair of our fleet and equipment, adhering to all operational guidelines. Your duties will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs on a variety of company vehicles such as cars, trucks, buses, and utility vehicles.
- Maintaining and repairing small engine equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, pressure washers) and larger machinery (forklifts, cranes).
- Completing necessary documentation accurately.
- Inspecting and fixing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Operating automotive lifts and other machinery safely.
- Providing outstanding service to guests and assisting with minor vehicle issues.
- Collaborating with vendors to procure parts and supplies.
- Performing cleaning and additional tasks as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience or completion of automotive vocational training.
- ASE certification in brakes is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a company driver's license.
- Capability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Willingness to train and achieve certification for forklift and high-reach equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery operation.
- Basic computer skills and scheduling flexibility.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
- Experience in other maintenance fields is a plus.
