Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at Maui Soda & Ice Works, Ltd. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers using a company-provided vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Read and work from routing manifests to deliver products to customers using a company-provided vehicle, forklift, and pallet jack or hand truck.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Accurately record invoices, credits, or other instructional information on the truck route manifest, complying with any special instructions for proper and efficient delivery.
  • Customer Service: Safely and efficiently deliver product to customer per instructions, collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions through the eoStar system.
  • Route Management: Maintain accurate records of route, follow check-in procedures, verifying accurate payment for invoices and collect any credits from the customer.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist customers during delivery as needed, follow correct procedures to document customer receipt of product, omission or error; collect payment through eoStar or through cash payment, listen to service complaints and direct to appropriate party/parties (warehouse or sales).
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 6+ months of delivery experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Traffic Abstract with safe driving record and valid Hawai'i Driver's License, CMV Medical Examiner's Certificate, and Airport Operation Access badge.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50-70 lbs. continuously, operate pallet jack and hand cart to transport products in a safe manner, and have visual acuity to operate 10,001+ GVWR or less and/or heavy equipment.
