Job Title: Field Sales & Service Representative

Are you passionate about the automotive industry and enjoy sharing your expertise? As a Field Sales & Service Representative at WAI Global, you'll lead training sessions, support customers in the field, and collaborate with sales teams to foster strong client relationships.

Job Summary

The Field Sales & Service Representative is responsible for technical and sales training, as well as customer, project, and field support for WAI Global customers across all market channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical and sales training sessions at customer sites, trade shows, and sales meetings
  • Plan and coordinate all training sessions and schedules in collaboration with customer representatives
  • Collaborate with customer commercial sales managers to support their efforts in promoting and educating clients on WAI Global products
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to educate customers on technical and non-technical aspects, including Q&A sessions
  • Provide problem-solving support to address customer issues related to WAI Global products during customer visits
  • Stay updated on customer commercial sales programs and promotions
  • Cultivate and maintain ongoing business relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships
  • Promote a collaborative work environment, encouraging effective communication and cross-training initiatives to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field
  • 5 years' experience working directly within the automotive industry - parts manufacturer or distributor, service departments, dealerships, vehicle maintenance environment; Or combination of equivalent education and experience equivalent
  • Experience includes familiarity with vehicle maintenance and diagnosis, knowledge of OE or aftermarket components
  • Ability to travel 75% of time
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial partnerships with customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.
  • Exhibits professional experience working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrates skill in writing routine reports and correspondence
  • Possesses advanced verbal communication skills, with the ability to address groups of customers or employees in an organization
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in work
  • Displays diligence in completing tasks in a timely manner, utilizing effective time management skills
  • Valid passport, allowing for international travel in and out of the US
