Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our Cardiac Imaging Lab, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms and vascular studies, to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and vascular studies, to assess cardiac function and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and provide emotional support during the testing process.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow-up paperwork for each procedure.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • BLS certification and registry eligibility with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a patient-related healthcare program, such as sonography.

Work Environment:
