Job Description

Qorvo is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Characterization Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Determine the compliance of Qorvo products to customer and internal specifications.
  • Measure the product using test equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators.
  • Provide guidance to technicians on the use of the product and test equipment.
  • Develop measurement automation using Microsoft C#.NET along with custom tools.
  • Analyze the performance data of the product using SAS JMP, Microsoft Excel, and custom software.
Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in software test development using object-oriented programming languages; C#,.NET preferred.
  • Experience with Python, Matlab, C#, or Visual Basic.
  • Completed some analog/RF circuit design coursework.
  • Ability to use data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Jump, or Excel and presentation tools such as PowerPoint.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Self-Starter with good communication skills.
  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure design and delivery of high-yielding products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
