ProMedica is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Caregiver to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Sarasota.
Job Summary:The Resident Caregiver plays a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of professionalism, tact, and sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, food service, and housekeeping.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
- Manage behavior and respond to resident needs in a calm and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement resident service plans.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner.
- Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis.
