Solar Energy Technician

Origis Energy is a leading renewable energy and decarbonization solution platform, accelerating the transition to a carbon-free future. As a Solar Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting solar power plants, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

• Operate and maintain solar power plants in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Test installed equipment, ensuring proper working order, including daily mechanical and electrical inspections.
• Document work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedules.
• Maintain inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Train, mentor, and develop laborers into apprentices.
• Ensure continuing education to meet safety and plant requirements.

• Valid Driver's License REQUIRED.
• 3 years suitable employment experience.
• High aptitude and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and read electrical schematics.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
