About the Opportunity
">This is a unique opportunity for a computing professional to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Practice in Computer and Information Science. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the departments outreach activities, the development of industry partners, and the integration of these collaborations into curricular and student professional development.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Teach undergraduate courses in computer and information science
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners
- Contribute to the development of new educational programs and initiatives
Requirements
">A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field is required, along with a strong background in teaching and a passion for working with students. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in developing and delivering educational programs, particularly in the areas of developer relations, open-source software development, or digital rights advocacy.
