We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Architect to join our Design Authority team. This team is integral to driving technology advancements at PNC. We are responsible for shaping the vision and managing the technology backlog, ensuring the implementation of reference architectures, patterns, and decision frameworks while fostering collaboration between business and technology stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate embodies the following qualities:

• An innovative thinker with a robust technical background suited for a complex infrastructure and software engineering environment.

• A proactive self-starter, eager to learn, adaptable to change, and driven by a desire for continuous growth.

• A strategic problem solver capable of navigating between high-level strategic planning and detailed tactical execution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Influencing the strategic adoption, standardization, and governance of technology within PNC.

• Engaging in Architecture Design Quality assessments to ensure compliance with architectural quality standards.

• Overseeing the development of enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and reference architectures, while ensuring adherence to these standards.

• Acting as a trusted advisor to technology and business partners, facilitating the achievement of strategic goals through technology utilization.

• Providing thought leadership in technology selection and recommendations that align with organizational objectives.

Key desired skills include:

• Proficiency in business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, microservices, and predictive analytics.

• Experience in IT development, design, or implementation, with expertise in areas such as application development, APIs, middleware, integration, and cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with diverse technical configurations and processing environments.

• A holistic understanding of enterprise systems and capability models.

• Strategic foresight and planning abilities.

• Knowledge of product management and agile methodologies, with the capability to support agile teams.

• Experience in financial services, particularly within vendor-hosted application ecosystems.

• Strong personal skills in communication, relationship building, collaboration, and influence.

• Certifications in TOGAF, SAFe, Cloud, BIAN, or other relevant frameworks are advantageous but not mandatory.
