Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position in our JS Anesthesiology department at MBMC Hospital. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists by preparing and assisting with the setup of equipment and supplies for each surgical case.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in the setup of appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case.
• Effectively manage your own technical practice.
• Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing educational activities.
• Complete assigned goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
• Minimum: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Minimum: Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimum: Computer literacy.
