We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Treatment Specialist to join our team at the City of Stuart, FL.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation of the Water Treatment Plant, ensuring the delivery of safe drinking water that meets quality standards. Key Responsibilities- Assist in the operation of the Water Treatment Plant, following established procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on plant operations, treatment processes, and laboratory results.
- Collaborate with the Chief Plant Operator and other team members to ensure seamless plant operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance water quality.
- Candidates must have a strong background in water treatment operations and maintenance, with experience in operating and maintaining complex equipment.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., environmental science, chemistry) is required.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding water quality and treatment is essential.
- Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
