The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical experience in a similar setting and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to organize personnel assignments and activities for others. The successful candidate will also have a working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care and be proficient in unit-specific procedures.

Responsibilities

As a Charge Nurse, you will be accountable for all registered nurse duties and responsibilities, as well as supervising individual patient care on a nursing unit. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management, using effective communication strategies to meet inter-and intra-departmental needs.

  • Accountable for all Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities as well as the following duties and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of unit standards of care, staff competencies, and individual patient care needs in facilitation proper patient placement and patient care assignments.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management, using and promoting effective communication strategies to meet inter-and intra-departmental needs.

You will also actively role-model and coach the behaviors associated with leadership and assist others in developing their skills and knowledge.
