We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to join our team at Central EMS in Manchester. As an AEMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency medical calls and provide critical care to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate emergency vehicles safely and effectively, adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols.
- Provide health education and instruction to patients and their families, promoting healthy outcomes and empowering individuals to take control of their health.
- Assist in patient assessment and preparation for scheduled procedures, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort.
- Administer IV fluids and medications as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and adhering to established protocols.
- Certified Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) certification upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Certified EMS Vehicle Operator (CEVO) certification upon hire.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- 1 year of experience in a busy 911 system.
As an AEMT with Central EMS, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, responding to emergency calls and providing critical care to patients in need. You will be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
