As a mid-level Compensation Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with the Compensation Program Manager to design, analyze, report, and manage UTA's market-driven compensation initiatives.
  • Assisting in the annual salary survey and participating in benchmarking for salary planning.
  • Ensuring consistency in job evaluations and descriptions across the organization.
  • Working alongside Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to formulate competitive compensation offers.
  • Maintaining HRIS and databases related to compensation.
  • Identifying and documenting business requirements and processes to ensure accurate employee compensation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of two years of experience in compensation roles, with a solid understanding of survey and statistical methods for compensation analysis, job classification, and salary structure development. Ability to address complex challenges with innovative solutions. Familiarity with market pricing practices and performance management is advantageous.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Understanding of compensation theories, practices, and applicable labor laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation software.
  • Knowledge of human resource regulations and best practices.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel are required.
  • A proactive approach to work, willing to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements.
  • A curious mindset focused on operational excellence and innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, valuing feedback and collaboration for team success.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word is preferred.
