Safety Solutions Director

At Walmart, we are committed to ensuring the seamless integration of safety solutions across various key products and initiatives. As the Director, Safety Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the operationalization of prioritized safety signals into key products. This position requires a strong leader who can develop and execute safety business cases to operationalize safety data signals into associate day-to-day processes and applications.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Developing End-to-End Partnerships: Leverage your expertise to drive the development of end-to-end partnerships that align safety signals with product objectives.
  • Leading Use Case Identification: Facilitate ideation, discovery, and working sessions with potential partners to contribute to the integration of safety solutions.
  • Driving Cross-Functional Collaborations: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of safety signals with product objectives.
  • Ensuring Integration Implementation: Ensure seamless integration and be accountable for the implementation of designated use cases.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be responsible for:

  • Resource Procurement: Identify and secure necessary product, engineering, and design resources for the development of safety solutions.
  • Proactive Strategic Planning: Create procurement plans that empower leaders to make decisions with traditional resource procurement timelines.
  • Maintaining Resource Visibility: Monitor resource utilization to ensure optimal deployment and efficiency.

You will also be responsible for executing prioritized safety business cases to ensure timely and successful implementation. This includes developing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for safety business cases, as well as monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal, occupational health and safety, communications, or a related area, and 5 years' experience in safety management or program management. A Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related area, and Walmart experience in Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, or Finance, including at least 2 years' experience in a role requiring strategy development, is preferred.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $110,000 and $220,000 per year, with additional compensation including annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
