ER Nurse

As a skilled ER Nurse at CommonSpirit Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients in emergency situations. Your expertise in emergency triage and critical care will enable you to prioritize patients based on their medical needs, providing timely and effective care.
Working collaboratively with our experienced clinical team, you will deliver stabilizing care to patients of all ages, adapting to changes in their condition as needed. Your knowledge of cultural differences will be essential in providing patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge, or admit patients.
- Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients, adapting care to changes in patient condition.
- Provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.
- Document the nursing care plan and changes in patient condition.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus up to $25,000, additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder, referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, and relocation assistance.
Qualifications:
- Unencumbered license to practice in the State of Arkansas.
- 6 months of acute care experience required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program).
- Previous ER experience is preferred but not required.
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required for Emergency Department.
