About the Role

Avel eCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telemedicine Hospitalist Physician to join our team. As a key member of our hospitalist service, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients located across multiple states and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide telemedicine services to patients in critical access and small to mid-size community hospitals
  • Collaborate with local bedside clinical teams to enhance patient care
  • Participate in admissions, consults, rapid responses, and code blue situations
  • Work flexible scheduling, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Meet the requirements for licensure in multiple states via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of ACGME-approved IM residency training
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine
  • ACLS certification or willingness to obtain
  • 3 years' experience as a hospitalist at a community hospital or larger
  • Excellent communication skills and motivation to develop customer service expertise
