Job Summary

Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. Work within the standards of ethics of the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the clinical practice standards established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT).

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Work with physicians to perform specialized procedures
  • Manage clerical and clinical functions, including cash and credit payments, daily transactions, and daily deposits
  • Register patients, obtain patient vitals and medical history, and relay information to providers
  • Perform procedures accurately, including collection, documentation, and analysis of specimens, administration of immunizations, and other medical procedures
  • Complete physician orders and discharge patients
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensure with the Indiana State Board of Health
  • CPR certification, TBTST certification, DOT Breath Alcohol and Urine Drug Screen Collection certification, and Hair Drug Screen Collection certification
