Job Opportunity

Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineering designs and complete related permitting and specifications
  • Support the bidding and contract solicitation processes
  • Assist with construction oversight, management, and support
  • Prepare reports and proposals, manage projects, and support the management of larger projects
  • Perform detailed quality control reviews of work prepared by others

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Current PE certification with the ability to obtain licensure by comity in Oregon and Washington within three months
  • Over five years of relevant work experience and appropriate continuing education
  • Strong technical capabilities, organizational and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD design software, specifically Civil 3D, and Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial stormwater or industrial wastewater design experience
  • Utility design, Civil 3D grading experience, construction oversight, or construction management experience
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification with current refresher
