Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in Austin, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and inhalers.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and other diagnostic tests to assess patient respiratory function.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current certification in respiratory therapy (CRT) or registered respiratory therapist (RRT).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
