Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Class A Truck Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods efficiently and safely. The operator will be responsible for making multiple deliveries throughout the local area, ensuring timely and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pick-up and delivery of freight, ensuring adherence to schedules.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Accurately complete necessary documentation related to freight and deliveries.
  • Safely operate the vehicle under various conditions, including different terrains and weather.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Experience operating manual transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with flatbed operations is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to quality.
