Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Summerville Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures and ensuring patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Verify patient orders and diagnoses
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
  • Use MRI safety screening forms to assess patients for metallic objects or non-MRI compatible devices
  • Develop and maintain MR protocols and communicate with radiologists for standardization
  • Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areas
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification within 60 months of employment start date
