Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a skilled and compassionate IVF Registered Nurse Case Manager to join our team on a per diem basis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide case management services for fertility treatments, collaborating with physicians and other medical providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pre-cycle testing, projected treatment calendars, and education schedules.
- Deliver patient education on IVF, fertility preservation, genetic testing, and medication actions, ensuring patients are well-informed and empowered to make informed decisions.
- Manage patient treatment protocols and next steps, providing timely and effective communication to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Explain available technologies and tests to patients, facilitating informed treatment decisions.
- Triaging patient medical complaints and providing advice and/or action via phone and portal.
- Charting in electronic medical records and scheduling in electronic scheduling programs.
- Performing phlebotomy and assisting physicians with procedures.
- Maintaining positive interactions with all team members.
- Current California RN or LVN license.
- Current CPR Certification required.
- Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
- Computer literacy, with experience in electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software preferred.
- Ability to travel between local offices and work some regularly scheduled weekends and holidays.
- Personal integrity, flexibility, self-starter, organized, team player, diversity tolerance, and excellent communication skills.
