Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our healthcare organization.

As a RN Clinical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based care and improve patient outcomes.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care, using evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics.
  • Partner with patients and significant others, using effective communication methods to set and achieve patient goals and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
  • Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Professional Development and Initiative
  • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
  • Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, modeling the professional practice of nursing and creating a healthy work environment.
Required Minimum Education and Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Required Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Preferred National certification in area of specialty.
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)
  • Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor.
  • Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact.
