Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant at Select Medical, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care experiences. Our team is passionate about promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

Perform patient care services, including bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care.

Answer patient calls and provide timely assistance to meet their physical needs.

Participate in hourly rounds to ensure patient well-being.

Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, assisting transporters with patient movement.

Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment, including bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.

Keep patient rooms clean and organized, including making beds.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3+ years).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student.

Nursing students may be considered as nurse assistants if approved by the State Practice Act.
