Job Details

Job Overview

The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie is seeking a part-time Nurse to join our Health Services team. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to at-risk youth in our community.

Responsibilities

* Provide medical care and support to children in our care
* Collaborate with the Nursing Director to develop and implement care plans
* Monitor children's health needs and execute physicians' orders
* Assist children in preventive health care and personal hygiene
* Caring for sick children and assessing medical needs

Schedule

* Part-time, 21 hours per week
* Sunday-Monday, 9am-7pm with 1 hour of remote supervision during the week
* Friday-Saturday, 9am-7pm with 1 hour of remote supervision during the week

Benefits

* Paid time off includes 4 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days, 12 holidays, and 9 sick days annually

Requirements

* Valid NYS Drivers license in good standing

* Computer experience necessary
* Psychiatric experience a plus
