Job Title: Head of Custodial Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Custodial Operations to join our team at Weber School District. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness of our school facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning and maintenance, with experience in managing personnel, hazardous materials, and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained, and that our staff and students have a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a role model and leader for custodial personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement procedures for cleaning, maintenance, and repair of school facilities.
• Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of facilities and equipment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify and address any issues related to facilities and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to facilities management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
