Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Operations Specialist to oversee the management of our fleet of shared electric vehicles. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, mentor, and supervise a team of Operations Specialists while delegating daily responsibilities to ensure effective workflow.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and assist in integrating new team members.
  • Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Safely operate a vehicle for extended periods to facilitate the deployment and collection of Lime's electric vehicles.
  • Engage with the local community to retrieve vehicles, assessing risks to maintain safety and employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  • Address and resolve city-related requests concerning compliance with service agreements.
  • Maintain open communication with team members, including peers and management.
  • Participate in company events, providing support for valet services and conducting safety inspections of our vehicles.
  • Assist with battery management operations, ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including minor repairs and supporting warehouse operations.
  • Conduct on-foot patrols to monitor vehicle parking compliance and cleanliness.
  • Identify and report unusual situations affecting service and product quality.
  • Occasionally assist customers with inquiries related to Lime vehicles.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols to ensure the safety of riders.
  • May operate equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, with a focus on leadership and coaching.
  • Understanding of workforce management principles to assist in staffing efficiency.
  • Familiarity with local geography and experience in a similar operational role.
  • Ability to operate large vehicles and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Capacity to lift up to 65 lbs / 35 kg regularly.
  • Proficient with mobile applications, with a preference for iOS experience.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience in safely operating pallet jacks or similar equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of performing quick repairs.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage daily responsibilities effectively.
  • A safety-conscious mindset, capable of conducting thorough quality checks.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interaction with team members, riders, and local officials.

Note: This position requires signing a waiver acknowledging the presence of Dual-Facing AI Dash Cams in our vehicles. This is a contracted role managed by a third-party employer.
