We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fiber Superintendent to join our team at Graphic Packaging International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Stock Prep Department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of fiber-related issues
- Manage personnel issues, including labor relations, labor schedules, and vacation schedules
- Assist with maintenance issues, as necessary
- Enforce and improve safety protocols
- Track stock trends, usages, and inventories
- Perform checks on equipment for performance and maintenance needs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure maximum stock throughput
- 10+ years of experience in paper making operations
- 5+ years of experience as a paper machine supervisor
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- SAP experience a plus
