Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fiber Superintendent to join our team at Graphic Packaging International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Stock Prep Department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of fiber-related issues
  • Manage personnel issues, including labor relations, labor schedules, and vacation schedules
  • Assist with maintenance issues, as necessary
  • Enforce and improve safety protocols
  • Track stock trends, usages, and inventories
  • Perform checks on equipment for performance and maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure maximum stock throughput
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in paper making operations
  • 5+ years of experience as a paper machine supervisor
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience a plus
