Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry, PLLC. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional chair-side support to our doctors and hygienists, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities:

* Provide clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup
* Manage patient flow, prioritizing next operatory room and updating doctors on patient status
* Welcome and greet patients, providing a personal introduction and escorting them to check-out
* Take and process X-rays, and enter and update patient treatment plans using our operational system
* Verify patient clinical service needs are met and take action when visits do not meet expectations

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience, with additional years highly welcome
* State requirements where specified
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and patient and team member focused

Physical Requirements:

* Mostly walking, talking, standing, and updating information in computer systems
